No Smoke and Mirrors Here. 1975 BMW R90S Restoration
Smoking the competition and leaving a stagnant image disappearing with the horizon in its mirrors BMW’s R90S showed up to represent a fresh BMW.
We received this 1975 BMW R90S in great cosmetic condition so we concentrated all of our energy in completing a full mechanical restoration including the following treatments: new wheel bearings, new suspension including Race Tech forks with gold valve emulators/ Race Tech springs and the Ikon suspension set up in the rear, top end engine rebuild, transmission overhaul with new seals and bearings etc., Continental tires, kept the stock brakes but installed a semi-sintered brake pads to improve braking power and control.

Twin-disc brakes were offered for the first time on the
Two R90S bikes placed 1st and 2nd at the very first AMA Superbike race at Daytona International Speedway in 1976.
There were only 3 series of the R90S.
